About the Role
As a Systems Administrator, you will maintain the backbone of our internal infrastructure and managed client environments. You will configure domain controllers, manage virtualization hosts, implement automated data backups, enforce security baselines, and resolve escalated server incidents.
Responsibilities
- ✓Maintain, patch, and monitor Windows Server and Linux virtual and physical servers.
- ✓Administer Active Directory, Group Policies (GPO), DNS, DHCP, and role-based permissions.
- ✓Manage virtualization platforms (Proxmox VE, VMware ESXi, or Hyper-V) and storage pools.
- ✓Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell or Bash scripting.
- ✓Verify daily backup operations and conduct regular recovery drills.
- ✓Respond to high-priority infrastructure alerts and perform root-cause analysis.
Technical Skills & Relevant Competencies
- ✓Hands-on experience administering Windows Server and Linux enterprise environments.
- ✓Solid understanding of Active Directory, domain services, and identity management.
- ✓Experience configuring virtualization hypervisors and storage configurations.
- ✓Familiarity with network topologies, VLANs, and firewall rules.
- ✓Comfortable with shell scripting for automation.
