About the Role
As a DevOps Engineer at Kamashka Technology, you will be the cornerstone of our release pipelines and server reliability. You will design and maintain automated CI/CD workflows, configure secure reverse proxies and SSL certificates, containerize multi-tier services, and implement monitoring and alerting so our platforms maintain high availability.
Responsibilities
- ✓Build and optimize automated CI/CD deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions or comparable platforms.
- ✓Manage Linux production servers, user permissions, firewall rules, and security patches.
- ✓Containerize backend, frontend, and database services using Docker and Docker Compose.
- ✓Configure and tune Nginx reverse proxies, SSL/TLS certificates, and load balancing.
- ✓Set up log aggregation, server health metrics, and automated alert notifications.
- ✓Maintain backup procedures and disaster recovery contingency playbooks.
Technical Skills & Relevant Competencies
- ✓Solid hands-on administration experience with Linux environments (Ubuntu, Debian).
- ✓Demonstrated proficiency with Docker, multi-stage builds, and container networking.
- ✓Strong experience writing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipeline workflows.
- ✓Familiarity with web server configuration (Nginx, Caddy), DNS, and SSL management.
- ✓Proficient in shell scripting (Bash) and automation scripting (Python or Node.js).
- ✓Experience with relevant cloud and deployment technologies.
