About the Role
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will build and maintain automated testing frameworks that execute reliably across our development and deployment pipelines. You will write automated end-to-end web tests, automate API contract tests, and prevent regressions from reaching production environments.
Responsibilities
- ✓Design, implement, and maintain maintainable automation suites using Playwright or Cypress.
- ✓Build automated API testing suites validating payloads, schemas, and authentication flows.
- ✓Integrate automated test runs into CI/CD pipelines to block regressions automatically.
- ✓Analyze test failures, isolate flakiness, and maintain high test suite reliability.
- ✓Collaborate with developers to expand unit and integration test coverage.
Technical Skills & Relevant Competencies
- ✓Hands-on experience in automated web testing using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- ✓Proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python for test scripting.
- ✓Experience automating REST API tests and validating JSON responses.
- ✓Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline integration (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- ✓Solid understanding of software architecture and testing design patterns (Page Object Model).
