About the Role
As a Software QA Engineer, you will ensure our web and mobile applications fulfill strict functional, visual, and performance standards. You will craft comprehensive test plans, execute functional and regression tests, document bugs meticulously, and verify fixes prior to client release.
Responsibilities
- ✓Author detailed, reusable test cases and test matrices based on feature specifications.
- ✓Conduct functional, usability, smoke, and regression testing across web and mobile platforms.
- ✓Validate API endpoints, payload status codes, and edge-case error responses using Postman.
- ✓Document reproducible defect reports with clear reproduction steps, logs, and screenshots.
- ✓Collaborate with developers to verify fixes and ensure quality gates are upheld.
Technical Skills & Relevant Competencies
- ✓Proven experience as a Software QA Engineer testing web and/or mobile applications.
- ✓Thorough understanding of software testing lifecycles (STLC) and defect life cycles.
- ✓Strong hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia).
- ✓Familiarity with bug tracking tools (Jira, Linear, GitHub Issues).
- ✓Knowledge of cross-browser and cross-device testing considerations.
