About the Role
As a Python Backend Developer at Kamashka, you will craft scalable RESTful services, database transaction pipelines, and background job queues. You will leverage modern Python features (type hinting, async/await) with frameworks like FastAPI and Django to power business-critical applications with strong data validation and security.
Responsibilities
- ✓Develop production-grade APIs using FastAPI and Pydantic for automated schema validation.
- ✓Build background task workers and scheduled pipelines using Celery or RQ.
- ✓Model relational data, write migrations, and optimize queries using SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.
- ✓Write comprehensive test suites using Pytest to guarantee regression-free releases.
- ✓Implement structured logging, health checks, and monitoring endpoints.
Technical Skills & Relevant Competencies
- ✓In-depth proficiency with modern Python (3.10+), type hints, and asynchronous programming.
- ✓Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Starlette, or Django REST Framework.
- ✓Solid relational database knowledge (PostgreSQL preferred) and query optimization skills.
- ✓Experience with asynchronous message brokers (Redis or RabbitMQ).
- ✓Proficient in test-driven practices using Pytest.
