About the Role

As a NestJS Backend Developer at Kamashka Technology, you will be responsible for engineering robust backend systems that power high-concurrency client platforms, internal automation services, and data pipelines. You will leverage NestJS architectural patterns (dependency injection, modules, guards, interceptors, and pipes) to maintain clean, testable, and enterprise-grade codebases.

Responsibilities

  • ✓Design, implement, and maintain modular NestJS microservices and REST APIs.
  • ✓Architect database schemas and perform query optimization using PostgreSQL and Prisma or TypeORM.
  • ✓Implement role-based access control (RBAC), JWT authentication, and secure session management.
  • ✓Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Jest and Supertest.
  • ✓Collaborate with frontend engineers to define clean OpenAPI/Swagger API specifications.
  • ✓Identify bottlenecks, optimize database query performance, and ensure API responsiveness.
  • ✓Containerize backend services with Docker and collaborate on deployment workflows.

  • ✓Deep understanding of OOP principles, Dependency Injection, and architectural design patterns.
  • ✓Experience writing automated tests with Jest or similar testing frameworks.
  • ✓Proficiency with Git version control, branching models, and pull request reviews.
  • ✓Familiarity with Docker containerization and environment management.
